Until now, these higher educational exams like JEE, NET, NEET, GPAT, CMAT, etc. were conducted by CBSE and UGC but it was getting difficult for these renowned organisations to manage such a huge number of students. The main problems while conducting these exams were transparency, matching the international standards, quick results without any error. These exams needed a very careful approach as it assesses the competence of the candidates for admissions and recruitment.
The biggest change after NTA is the pattern of the exam in which it will be conducted. From now on, the exams will be conducted through Online Mode. Students will be given the computer systems to give the exam. So those who are not Tech savvy will have to practice on computers and laptops. For rural areas, NTA will provide practice centers for the students to make them familiar with the new Online Mode of exam. The benefits of this exam pattern will be many as it is highly secured and there will be no delays and malpractices. Students can save time as they do not have darken the circles in the OMR Sheets.
Apart from the Online mode of the exam, no other changes are being expected in the syllabus or pattern of the exam. In the last two exams, there were already several changes like the timing and number of papers. Even the fees of the exam was also hiked.
The first exam under NTA will be the NET Dec 2018. For best results and boosting confidence, students are suggested to practice more and more test practices online in the similar pattern as NTA. NTA itself will provide some mock tests.
