Eligibility Criteria for English Teachers (KVS/NVS)

PGT (English):

• Master’s degree in English with 50% marks minimum.
• NCTE-recognized B.Ed. (or equivalent integrated program).
• Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi.
• Maximum age: 40 years.

TGT (English):

• Bachelor’s degree with 50% in English as an honors/major subject.
• Ed. and CTET Paper 2 qualified.
• Must be able to teach in both Hindi and English.
• Maximum age: 35 years.

PRT:

• 12th pass (at least 50%) with a 2-year D.El.Ed. or B.El.Ed.
• CTET Paper 1 qualified.

Exam Pattern (Major Highlights)
