How to get admission in Jamia Milia Islamia for Post Graduation?

Jamia Milia Islamia, a world renowned university, located in the heart of Delhi. It marks its establishment since the British Raj. The university has been able to maintain its excellence ever since. It is the third central university to be ranked among the top universities of India. it is a hub for culture and education. However the entrance process for under graduation and the post graduation in Jamia Milia Islamia used to be really complicated. The students had to go through tedious forms, entrances, cutoffs and what not. With the introduction of CUET, it has become easy for the students to pursue admission with a hastle free process.

Jamia Milia Islamia has joined hands with the National Testing Agency and is accepting admissions through the CUET exam.

Jamia is well known for its master’s programmes in various fields. With the expertise of some really renowned professors, the students get to experience the best of higher education. CUET PG is the Common University Entrance Test PG for the students seeking admission in the master’s programme of various universities which now includes Jamia Milia Islamia.

CUET- PG or Computer Based Entrance Test is an exam conducted by the National Testing Agency for the students seeking admission in M.A, MSc, MCom and LLB. This common entrance test brings all the universities of India into a single umbrella and saves the time and money of the students pursuing higher education. Around 143 Universities from all over India will be welcoming aspirants based on the result of CUET- PG entrance exam.

The students who have scored Minimum of 50% marks in graduation from a recognized university ; 5% relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD candidates are eligible for this exam. The exam consists of 100 questions in the multiple choice based pattern. The exam time is 2 hours. For every right answer the student is awarded with 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. The exam is divided into 2 sections. The first 25 questions consist of Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Mathematical/Quantitative ability and Analytical Skills. The next 75 questions are based on the subject that the student has applied for. For e.g. English, Psychology, Commerce etc. The syllabus of the exam varies subject wise and the student is advised to visit the NTA website for a detailed over view of the syllabus.
