How to get admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University for Post Graduation?

Jawaharlal Nehru University, established in 1969 after the name of India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru is the premium of all the Universities in India, situtated in the New delhi.  The University does not need any introduction as it is known all over the world. The university is known to have educated many of India’s great ministers, democrats, cricketrs, educators etc.

Bragging the second position in the All India rankings of the university, the educational institute provides the students with expertise of some of India’s well known professors as well as researchers.  There are thousands of applicants who want to pursue their education in JNU but only some of the great minds of India get the opportunity to study in this University.

JNU used to conduct the JNUEE which is the Jawaharlal University Entrance Exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency , was consired one of the toughtest entrances in India. But ever since CUET which is the Common University Entance Exam for both undergraduates and post graduates, has been organized for the aspirants, the students have got a way to enter such prestigious institute; without having to study separately or look for a separate syllabus for JNU.

JNU offers a bunch of advanced courses for the post graduates. The subjects offered in the curriculum are not only new to the education system but are also very educative and advanced. An exposure friom a university like JNU gives the students enough confidence to compete or work with any university all over the world and now the students from all over India can apply for this premium level of education with the help of CUET PG ebtrance.

CUET- PG or Computer Based Entrance Test is an exam conducted by the National Testing Agency for the students seeking admission in M.A, MSc, MCom and LLB. This common entrance test brings all the universities of India into a single umbrella and saves the time and money of the students pursuing higher education. Around 143 Universities from all over India will be welcoming aspirants based on the result of CUET- PG entrance exam.

The students who have scored Minimum of 50% marks in graduation from a recognized university ; 5% relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD candidates are eligible for this exam. The exam consists of 100 questions in the multiple choice based pattern. The exam time is 2 hours. For every right answer the student is awarded with 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. The exam is divided into 2 sections. The first 25 questions consist of Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Mathematical/Quantitative ability and Analytical Skills. The next 75 questions are based on the subject that the student has applied for. For e.g. English, Psychology, Commerce etc. The syllabus of the exam varies subject wise and the student is advised to visit the NTA website for a detailed over view of the syllabus.
