Sahitya Classes is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new TGT and PGT Test Series in October. This test series has been designed according to the updated syllabus and will help aspirants prepare through regular assessment, topic-wise practice, and exam-oriented revision.

The test series is specially designed by Prof. Vineet Pandey to support students preparing for TGT and PGT English examinations. It will not focus only on literature; it will also include important questions from the newly updated areas of Grammar, ICT, and Communication.

For students who want to understand the current syllabus, improve speed, and practise under exam-like conditions, this test series will be an important part of their preparation.

Why the Updated Test Series Matters

TGT and PGT examinations are becoming more competitive, and syllabus updates mean that students must prepare beyond conventional literature topics. Candidates now need a balanced command of English literature, language, grammar, communication skills, computer awareness, and ICT-related concepts.

The new Sahitya Classes Test Series is being prepared to reflect these requirements. It will help students identify where they stand, understand their weak areas, and revise the syllabus in a more organised manner.

Instead of studying topics separately without knowing how they may appear in the examination, students can use the test series to practise the kind of objective questions they are likely to face.

What the Test Series Will Cover

The October test series will be based on the updated TGT and PGT English syllabus. It will include questions from the following major areas:

• English Literature.
• Literary history and literary movements.
• Important authors, texts, genres, and forms.
• Literary criticism and theory.
• Grammar and language usage.
• Vocabulary and sentence transformation.
• Comprehension-based questions.
• Information and Communication Technology.
• Computer and internet terminology.
• Teaching-related and exam-oriented English questions.
• General awareness areas, where applicable in the updated syllabus.
• Previous-year question patterns and expected objective questions.

The inclusion of Grammar, ICT, and Communication is particularly important. Students should not consider these topics secondary, because they can contribute valuable marks in the updated syllabus and may make a difference in a close competition.

Designed by Prof. Vineet Pandey

The test series is specially designed by Prof. Vineet Pandey, keeping in mind the updated syllabus, recent examination trends, and the level of questions expected in TGT and PGT examinations.

The objective is to provide students with meaningful practice rather than random questions. Each test will be designed to help candidates test their conceptual understanding, accuracy, speed, and exam temperament.

Students will be able to use the test series to:

• Measure their preparation level.
• Identify weak areas topic by topic.
• Practise Grammar, ICT, and Communication questions.
• Improve time management.
• Learn how to avoid unnecessary mistakes.
• Strengthen objective-question-solving ability.
• Build confidence before the actual examination.
• Revise the full syllabus through regular testing.

Grammar, ICT and Communication Preparation

The updated syllabus requires students to prepare several areas that are often ignored during conventional English Literature preparation. Sahitya Classes is including these sections in the test series so that students can prepare in a complete and balanced way.

Grammar

Grammar questions may test areas such as:

• Parts of speech.
• Subject–verb agreement.
• Articles and determiners.
• Sentence correction.
• Transformation of sentences.
• Error detection.
• Vocabulary and usage.

Students should use the tests to practise accuracy and identify recurring errors.

ICT

ICT questions may include:

• Computer fundamentals.
• Internet terminology.
• Email and web-based concepts.
• Hardware and software.
• Digital tools.
• Online learning platforms.
• Information and communication technology in education.
• Cyber safety and basic digital awareness.

These questions are often direct, but they require factual revision and practice.

Communication

Communication-related questions may test:

• Types of communication.
• Verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Communication models.
• Barriers to communication.
• Classroom communication.
• Interpersonal and mass communication.
• Effective communication skills.

Students should revise important definitions, models, and examples before attempting these questions.

How the Test Series Will Help

A test series is not only a way to check marks. It is a method of improving performance before the actual examination.

Through the Sahitya Classes TGT and PGT Test Series, students can:

• Follow a regular revision schedule.
• Apply concepts to exam-style questions.
• Check accuracy under time pressure.
• Analyse incorrect answers.
• Improve weak topics before the examination.
• Practise the latest syllabus rather than outdated patterns.
• Develop confidence for the final examination.

Students should attempt every test seriously, review mistakes after each attempt, and maintain a revision notebook for incorrect questions. This will make the test series more useful than simply checking scores.

Who Should Join?

The test series will be useful for:

• Students preparing for TGT English examinations.
• Students preparing for PGT English examinations.
• Aspirants already enrolled in TGT or PGT batches.
• Students studying independently who need regular practice.
• Candidates who want to revise the updated syllabus.
