UPPSC has provisionally allowed eligible candidates to appear in the Mains examination, subject to timely submission of the hard copy of the application form as instructed.

Candidates who fail to complete the application-form submission process by the prescribed deadline may have their candidature cancelled during scrutiny.

The Commission has also warned candidates against unfair means.

Under the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, cheating, copying, circulating or reproducing question papers, making question papers public, and conspiracy related to such acts can attract very serious legal consequences.

The notice refers to penalties that may include a fine of up to ₹1 crore and imprisonment up to life imprisonment in applicable cases.
